SpotTheCam is a free map of published speed camera sites and the speed limit the map can work out for each one. Workbench Soft provides it as is. Questions go to workbench.soft@gmail.com.

The road wins

Follow the sign on the road and the road rules of that state or of New Zealand. The map can lag a new camera, miss a limit or show a mobile site with no van there. A mismatch does not change what the law requires.

What you may do

• Use the map in a browser or in the Android app, for your own driving and for teaching road safety.
• Reuse the code under the repository licence on GitHub.

Do not scrape the map to build a product that tells people to ignore cameras or limits.

Data owned by others

Camera lists belong to the agencies that publish them. OpenStreetMap data is under the ODbL. Ads on the site and in the app come from Google, under Google's terms.

No warranty

Workbench Soft is not liable for a fine, a crash or a missed camera. The map is a helper. It is not a legal advice service and not an official government site.
